WARE MALCOMB ANNOUNCES CONSTRUCTION IS COMPLETE ON BUDD LAKE, NEW JERSEY, SELF-STORAGE DEVELOPMENT
NEWARK, N.J. (July 11, 2024) – Ware Malcomb, an award-winning international design firm, today announced that construction is complete on a new four-building, self-storage development at 89 US 46 in Budd Lake, New Jersey. Ware Malcomb provided architectural design services for the 95,200 square foot project, owned by Quinlan Development Group, LLC, a New York City-based real estate investment and development company.

The 761-unit project is 78% efficient, setting a high benchmark for self-storage developments. The unit mix represents a range of sizes and offers many climate-controlled space options. The project can accommodate a variety of customer needs among the four buildings, with one building incorporating an interior loading dock, allowing box trucks to load/unload directly. Other features of the project include direct unit lighting and hydraulic elevators in locations throughout.
The architectural design incorporates a variety of façade treatments to achieve an elevated design aesthetic, including Nichiha fiber cement siding, ACM (aluminum composite material), IMP (insulated metal panel) and metal panel material.
General contracting services for the project were provided by Gerard Construction.
