For the past 15 years, Ware Malcomb has supported Susan G. Komen Orange County, which funds vital breast cancer research, advocacy and resources for those impacted in our local community. This year, we are proud to share that our team raised $9,800, bringing our overall giving to Komen to $160,000.
The Susan G. Komen More Than Pink Walk in Newport Beach, California is one of the philanthropic highlights of our year. On Sunday, September 27th, we gathered at Fashion Island and walked to honor survivors, remember loved ones and stand with everyone touched by breast cancer.

Seeing our WM family, along with family and friends cheering each other on is what makes this walk so special. A heartfelt thank you to everyone who donated, volunteered, walked and supported our team.
This year’s fundraising kept our community connected in fun and meaningful ways. Activities included: The BBQ Tiki Toss Tournament, Trivia Night hosted jointly with our friends at Pivot Interiors, and a foodie fan favorite, the WM Irvine Office Bake Sale and Raffle.
While all of the year’s events brought us closer to our fundraising goal, the Bake Sale deserves its own special spotlight. We rolled out two carts overflowing with delicious cookies, brownies, cakes, and other treats in more creative varieties than we could count!

Every dollar raised helps advance Komen’s mission to support those affected by breast cancer and moves us closer to a future without it. Thank you to our Komen committee members: Team Captains Yolanda Conner and Kristen Lazatin, along with Nikki Clinton, Leslie Espiritu, Ana Carrera, Elle Williams, Kim Arial, Maria Quinn, Mike Manson, Robin Wills, Tammy Bain, and Thomas Wallen for making this year’s campaign an incredible success!
Fifteen years of showing up, giving back and making a difference is something worth celebrating. I am incredibly proud of our WM Team, and I’m grateful to be part of a community that takes real action on the causes that matter to them. Here’s to the impact we’ve made together and to the difference we’ll continue making in the years ahead.
