Ken joined Ware Malcomb in 1994 and was promoted to Regional Director in 1997. As Regional Director, he was responsible for opening our Northern California office and helped successfully grow and expand this regional office. In 1999, Ken was promoted to Principal, Vice President in 2001 and Executive Vice President in 2012. In 2020, Ken was promoted to CEO and as a member of the firm’s Board of Directors, he currently leads the overall vision, growth, and management of Ware Malcomb.
During his tenure with the firm, Ken has consistently demonstrated excellence in every challenge and opportunity he has been given. He has been instrumental in leading the growth of Ware Malcomb, including developing and overseeing operations companywide. He has also coached and mentored key leaders across the firm.
Ken has been involved in the industry since 1987 and brings experience in all aspects of architecture including a variety of building types such as commercial office, industrial, retail, education/institutional, automotive, and public facilities. He has also worked with many of the leading developers and corporate clients across the United States.
Ken received his Bachelor of Architecture Degree from California Polytechnic State University, Pomona. He is a member of the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB). His current professional and charity affiliations include Committee Member since 2006 of BBFF (Building Block Foundation Fund), and an active member and sponsor of NAIOP (the Commercial Real Estate Development Association).
