Blending historic preservation with modern creativity, the design transforms a 123-year-old structure into a vibrant hub for education, music, and the arts.

Architecture and interior design services for the renovation of the 5,000 ft² historic Barry-Hughes Performing Arts Center at Mount Carmel High School in Chicago. The project transformed the 123-year-old building into a modern education and performing arts facility, featuring a 200-seat theater, music rooms, recording studios, and an art room, while preserving its original architectural character through elements like the acoustically isolated “jewel box” structure.
