2022 Highlights – A Year In Review
Offices & Projects
We opened five new offices this year – São Paulo, Columbus, Ottawa, Nashville and Monterrey.
We have delivered over 4,900 projects to our clients with innovative design, enthusiasm and successful collaboration and grew 8%. We are proud to partner with diverse clients across industries, and work with over 300 corporate account clients.
Our WM Community program actively engages team members to make a difference. Our team members across the company continue to amaze us with these efforts by strongly supporting organizations in our communities.
We are so proud to be recognized this year as an Outstanding Honoree Firm for Orange County National Philanthropy Day! We were nominated by United Way, PCRF and Susan G. Komen. This is a great testament to our culture of giving – especially during our 50th anniversary year.

Diversity, Equity & Inclusion
Our DEI Team is spearheading a variety of initiatives around diversity, equity and inclusion education and training, community outreach, communication and events.
- We joined NOMA (National Organization of Minority Architects), their mission is to champion diversity within the design professions by promoting excellence, community engagement, and professional development.

Media & Speaking Engagements
Our leaders reinforced Ware Malcomb’s thought leadership and industry involvement by speaking at over 25 events across the Americas on topics such as the future of office, cold building trends, workplace diversity, e-commerce/logistics, among others.
Our efforts resulted in media features, articles, interviews and podcasts published across the Americas. Additionally, the Orange County Business Journal wrote a feature article honoring our 50th anniversary and the evolution from a boutique OC firm to an international institution – read the article.
Continued Innovation
We continued progress on WM 5.0, the latest iteration of our employee idea based continuous improvement program. Some highlights include an internal design excellence competition and a peer-to-peer recognition program, among many others.
We made progress on our company-wide WM Future initiative to develop and adapt future technology and processes into everything we do. We are excited to continue it next year with an eye towards innovation.
