For over a decade now, our Denver team has been proudly hosting an annual Pack to School donation drive benefiting underprivileged students in the Denver area as they prepare for the upcoming school year.
This year’s event was a tremendous success, with our team rallying together to raise approximately $30,000 and pack more than 1,000 backpacks with essential school supplies. The event also paid special tribute to our beloved team member lost, Samantha Lopez, who was instrumental in nurturing this program since its inception.
With Sam and our team’s unwavering dedication to this program over the past 11 years, we have accomplished significant milestones, including:
Raising an impressive $185,000
Packing nearly 6,400 backpacks
Supplying 163,000 pencils, 12,000 erasers, 18,000 glue sticks, and more!
The event took place at the Owen Branch of the Denver Boys & Girls Club, where our team members, along with our families, friends, and industry partners, gathered to pack the backpacks. It was an evening filled with camaraderie and joy as we came together for this meaningful community effort. We were also joined by Samantha’s family, who kicked off our event by filling the first backpack in her honor.
