Canada's first mass timber industrial warehouse

Architectural design services for Canada’s first mass timber industrial warehouse. This 246,000 SF industrial warehouse is one of three warehouses. The project comprises of 40ft high Glulam columns, 55ft and 60ft long Glulam beams and 250,000 SF of 3-ply cross-laminated timber. The mass timber used provides a 62% decrease in embodied carbon emissions as compared to a steel skeleton structure. The perimeter steel support framing was maintained utilizing innovative carbon-reducing SIN-Beam technology. The building is pursuing LEED Silver certification.
